At Vancouver Coastal Eye Surgeons, our mission is to provide exceptional services to our patients. We have two locations, one in Vancouver on West Broadway and one in South Richmond. We practice general ophthalmology with subspecialty focus in Glaucoma and Oculoplastics.
We are pleased to accept new patients and render a wide variety of in-office testing. We deliver excellent patient centered care in a comfortable environment under one roof with a dedicated team.
We are accepting new patients and emergency referrals. Please email vcesurgeons@gmail.com for advice on how to book an appointment, or contact your family physician to ask for a referral to our office.
Our office provides patients with multiple services related to eye care. Here’s how to prepare for your first appointment:
- Depending upon the tests that are required, your appointment may be scheduled in two visits. The first appointment will be for testing with an ophthalmic technician. The second appointment will be a consultation with the ophthalmologist. You will not be dilated at your first appointment for testing, but you may be dilated at your second appointment with the ophthalmologist.
- Be prepared to be dilated during your consultation with the ophthalmologist. Dilation will allow your ophthalmologist to see the back of your eye. Your vision will be blurry for approximately 4 to 6 hours, and you will be sensitive to light. Please bring a driver and sunglasses.
- Bring your BC Care Card
- Bring a list of medications
- Bring any glasses you currently wear
- Your visit may last 30 minutes to 2 hours depending upon the tests that are required.
Thank you for choosing Vancouver Coastal Eye Surgeons. We look forward to seeing you.
