Born in Burlington, Ontario, Dr. Pintwala first attended the University of Waterloo’s prestigious Systems Design Engineering program for his Bachelor’s Degree, followed by a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Western University in London, Ontario. Dr. Pintwala completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Pintwala was fortunate to be invited to join the teaching faculty at UBC and Providence Health Care in Vancouver as a Cataract Surgeon and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. He looks forward to meeting with you in consultation to review your ocular health!
